Brisbane and District Ladies Golf Association

The BDLGA’s charter is focused on ensuring opportunities for women and junior girls to enjoy the camaraderie of other golfers through the tournaments, competitions and intra-state challenges offered.

The association is a member of the Australian golf sports body, Golf Australia, Queensland Division. Through this connection, member clubs in the district gain affiliation and enjoy the benefits of programs, funding and services available. The BDLGA offers opportunities for its members from every club in the district to meet and interact with each other in regular tournaments, Pennants and special events which are held annually.

Becoming a member of BDLGA, which is automatic to all females who are financial members of any golf club within the district, requires our members to abide by our Constitution, By-Laws and association procedures and be bound by the Golf Australia National Integrity Framework Policies adopted by BDLGA (available at https://bdlga.com.au/resources/).

The Management Committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting of the association. This committee is responsible for the administration and management of the association’s affairs and funds. The Management Committee works together for the benefit of all of its member women and junior golfers.
